Today I looked at what exactly defined dadaism and how it varies from surrealism. In doing so I have decided to try and take a bit from both surrealism and dadaism as I feel that they both hold attractive traits for my project. As dadaism is met to purposely be nonsensical and abstract to an extreme I am going to try and use surrealism elements to ground the piece in a bit more closely to reality.

As well for my poem/ prompt I've decided to first write the concept then focus on rhyming later. the idea is as follows.

A man is running out of time it flies by as running water and a running list are passing him on a highway.
